It wasn’t the best thing to receive in the post this morning, she now had to go and make a statement and apologise to the NYPD.

Sound.

The sound didn’t get any fainter. It continued to the point where Johnny snapped awake His eyes instantly searching for where he was and wanting to know what the hell was going on. First thing he noticed was the fact he was no longer strapped in the medical chair but instead laying on a bed in some chamber all alone. He winced in pain as he tried to sit up, some bandages around him Johnny was almost too scared to look what they had done. When he finally managed to get up he took in the full extent of his surroundings. Noticing that the atmosphere wasn’t exactly pleasant down here, there was nothing homely or even clean about this room. It was cell, a bed a table and in one of the far corners what looked like a toilet. Johnny didn’t exactly want to get any closer to see if he was right. In the distance the door was wide open although it seemed to leader to a stone corridor, Johnny got up off the bed and felt the need to try and get out of this place. These so called Doctors trying to help him were nothing like what he thought. The four of them had been played all this time.

The news reporters had pulled up and Johnny took one last look out through the tinted glass to the crowd below. A stadium filled with screaming fans waiting to see his next latest stunt. To some of Johnny’s rivals he should have pulled out the competition the minute he got super powers. It’s not really risking your life if you can fly away at the first sign of danger. They all thought it was cheating but to credit Johnny for something, he never used his powers. If anything it made him over confident which meant his stunts were getting better and his popularity had gone sky high. The others were simply jealous. “I can do this I can do this.” Johnny muttered, never taking his eyes off the crowd. It was a big night tonight, his rival was finally here and they were both looking to make the second round. Up against so many others this newcomer was the only person that had Johnny curious.

Once again Johnny waited in the Doctors room. It was a little colder than normal. The atmosphere of the room felt like something was missing although Johnny couldn’t put his finger on what it was. Come to think of it Johnny couldn’t even remember much of their last conversation together when he was here. He had a habit of falling asleep towards the end of the questions, the Doctor said she didn’t mind but sometimes he felt rude about doing it. When Jessica finally arrived she took her usual spot opposite him and run her fingers through her long blonde hair, pushing it back off her face. As much as he didn’t want to admit it she was kind of hot. Moody and a little short tempered for a Doctor but hot.

Johnny didn’t know what to do with himself. He spent most the time turning the TV on and off or pacing in his apartment. At one stage he tried going to the gym just for the distraction but even then he couldn’t concentrate. Of all the people to finally come back to town it had to be Mike Snow. Johnny hadn’t seen him since the accident. The time they were out in the snow fighting over Hannah. It’s stupid what you get up to just for the sake of a girl. These two had tumbled out in the snow trying to fight for the approval of someone he didn’t even know the two of them existed. Looking back it was plain childish but that doesn’t change the fact it happened.
